One man folk/blues band!

Tom Bennett has ridden freight trains and hitchhiked thousands of miles up and down the deserts of the western U.S. He was a Mormon missionary that walked away when polygamist tried to recruit him. He became a cocaine dealer instead. Born and raised in the deep south he learned harmonica after being given one by an old woman from West Virginia. He learned the blues sitting alone in a Georgia hayfield at Eagle Crest Ranch, a farm on the Georgia/Alabama line. His Great Grandfather, Roy Ferguson performed at the Grand Ole Opry and later died in a Holiday Inn parking lot after his final show. Tom’s family believes that spirit is alive in Tom. One of the newest editions to the Salt Lake Folk and Blues scene within ten months of picking up a guitar Tom performed for 5000 people at the State Capitol. He now is a full time folk performer and is the founder of Sweet Salt Records.
